Farlowella or dojo loach?

The farowella is a cool looking fish, I do not know anything about them though. Dojos need to be in a school , and I keep reading that they can get to 10 inches each, Have you considered any of the smaller loaches thoug? like zebra loaches, a school of at least 4 yould be a nice addition.
