Catfish are bottom feeders and feed mostly at night so one of the best things to do is just a plain old worm on a hook with a sinker about 2-3 ft above the hook. You could also use sweet corn, (works absolutley amazing on carp but I have caught catfish with it too.) or try stinkbait. Worms are one of the best baits for catfish in a pond.
