don't ever let an animal die of starvation, it is extremely painful. Jesus you should have put the cat down awhile ago when you couldn't pay its medical bills instead of letting it suffer. It sounds like it could have feline leukemia which is pretty expensive to treat. It's sad but if you cant afford treating your pet you should put it out of its misery
